House of Spooks ~ Halloween Special

Hey guys. Happy Halloween! I'm super proud of this story, I just love how it turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. I just give a really quick thank you to my awesome neighbors for letting me shot in this old house on their land. ❤️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Any aces?" "Nope, go fish." "Hey, Em! You ready to go?" Emerson asked as she and Candy walked into the kitchen. Emily turned in her seat, "Emerson, I already told you, you're fourteen years old I'm sixteen years old. I'm not taking you trick-or-treating." "But Emily, Candy is still thirteen. This is her last chance to go out on Halloween, but her mom said she could only go if I went with her, and Mom said I can only go if you go!" Emerson argued. "Yeah, but Janet and I have plans." Emily replied. 'Where you going to play 'Go Fis...

When A Fandom Takes Over Your Life ~ A Photo Story

"Hey Guys!" Molly waved to the camera, "I'm here today with my first post, and I thought it should be about one of my favorite things,"

"Books! Or should I say the fandoms that surround them. I guess some the ones I'm going to talk about are movies but anyway."

"There are a few different stages before you are really part of a fandom, Newbie, Intermediate, Professional, and Master."

"There are many fandoms out there and I'm only going to be talking about a few today. But always be careful. Keep in mind that whichever fandom you choose, it's going to take over your life."

"The first step of the Newbie stage is finding and reading the books."

Molly walked up and down the rows of books at the library.
"Hmm, I guess I'll try this one?"

"Now if this really is the fandom for you, you're going to start really getting into it."

"Oh!" Charlie jumped in surprise. She thought she was the first one up that morning.
"Molly, you scared me. I didn't know you got up this early."

"Get up?" Molly looked confused, "I never went to sleep."

"You stayed up reading, again?" Charlie sighed, "Aren't you tired?"

"Nah, just give me a cup of coffee and another chapter. I'll be fine." Molly replied.

"Right about now is the moment when you discover the fandom, for the first time."

*Scrolling through Pinterest*
"Wait. what's this?"

"Whoa, there are people who like my books more than me! I want in on this!"

"At this point, you have become an Intermediate, but now it's all you can think about!"

"Um, have you been reading again?" Claire asked.

"Maybe." Molly replied, "How did you know?"

"Because it's lunch time." Claire said.
"And?" Molly was confused.

"And all you have for lunch is a plate of books." Claire pointed out.
"And?" Molly repeated.

"In this stage you'll also start collecting."

"There we go. All my books in order." Molly smiled.

"Wow, that's a lot of books." Taryn commented.

"Yeah, I hope someday I'll have all the books from this series." Molly wished.
"Well, you have seven right now," Taryn counted, "How many are there?"
"Oh, forty or fifty."

"And, of course, you start to annoy your family with all your pent-up knowledge."

"But one of the theories floating around is that Thanos and Iron Man know each other because," Molly continued on and on.

"Ugh" Afton groaned, trying to cover her ears.

"Hey, Molly, " She suddenly interrupted, "I just remembered, I have to go into town."

"Oh, great! I'll come with you. To be honest, the others are getting kind of annoying."

"Now that you are into the fandom, you want something deeper than reading the books. You want something more."

"Ugh, I know these books inside, out. I need something more."

"Oh, I know!"

"By now, you're pretty much a Professional."

"And now that you know these books, you deiced to watch the movies. Sadly this is a very bad idea."

"Oh, I know! I'll watch the movies!"

"What?!" Molly cried, "Did they even try to read the book?!"

"But it's not enough to think, act, and talk like your favorite book characters, it's time to dress the part!"

"Um, Molly?" Lanie looked at her outfit, "Are you sure you're coming to town dressed like that?"

"Why? Did I get food on my Starlord costume?!" Molly panicked.

"Well, no. It's just...oh, never mind." Lanie sighed.

"Up until now, you havn't read much in public, being worried people will judge your books, but now you're becoming more bold."

"And as you get more bold, you will find people, in real life, who are in your fandom. This marks you as a Master."

Molly walked through the mall trying not to notice the odd looks she was getting.

A girl walked past her, then turned and said, "Hey is that a Starlord costume?"
"Um, yeah." Molly replied nervously.

"Wow! It's so cool! I love it!" The girl cried.
"Thanks," Molly smiled, "your Thor costume is pretty cool too!"

The girl beamed, "My name is Indigo."

"My name is Molly. Say, have you seen 'Ant Man and the Wasp'?"
"Um, yeah!" Indigo said.

"Come on! Let's go to my house and talk about how it fits in to the 'End Game' trailer!" Molly grabbed her hand and walked her away.

"An other thing is you'll start to appreciate fan art, like this piece you see above me."

(Laugh all you want, it was a first attempt.)

"Now my friends, you are a literal fangirl."

"Now all you have to do is accept your insanity and enjoy!"

"We are completely insane." Indigo mumbled.
"Wonderful, isn't it?" Molly replied.

"So, I hope you enjoyed reading this, and let me know down in the comments if you read or watch anything I mentioned in this post!
Bye!"

    2. Yes, and no. I want to know what happens but I know its going to be so sad :( (And just as an FYI Loki is not dead!) Loki is my favorite character (though I have lots) What about you?

    3. Same! I think lots of people will die, but I don't think everyone who died in Infinity War are going to stay dead. I think Thor, Loki, and Captain American are my favorites. :)
