*In 'Her' POV*

As I walked down the road I began to grumble.

"How long is this road anyway?! Well, at least maybe he won't find me hear." I said to myself.

But I knew he would find me sooner or later.

Suddenly as I thought about it my bag seemed heavier.

"What if my new family knew..." I thought.

I was suddenly startled out of my thoughts by my kitten, Mackenzie, jumped out of my bag and meowed in protest.

I picked him up and gave him an affectionate squeeze.

"I know, but we'll hopefully get there soon." I said.

Then Mackenzie wriggled out of my grasp and Fox, my other kitten jumped out of the bag and ran ahead.
"No, stop!" I called running after them.

Finally them came to a cattle guard.
Fox turned and meowed at me.

After I had the two of them back in my bag, I tried to see a way around the guard, but the only way was to go over it.

So I began to crab walk across one of the vertical beams, as the grass tickled my ankles.

  
Once I got across I looked around and saw the house
"Well, here I go." I said taking a deep breath.

But little did I know who was in that house,
and what adventure awaited me.
