House of Spooks ~ Halloween Special

Hey guys. Happy Halloween! I'm super proud of this story, I just love how it turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. I just give a really quick thank you to my awesome neighbors for letting me shot in this old house on their land. ❤️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Any aces?" "Nope, go fish." "Hey, Em! You ready to go?" Emerson asked as she and Candy walked into the kitchen. Emily turned in her seat, "Emerson, I already told you, you're fourteen years old I'm sixteen years old. I'm not taking you trick-or-treating." "But Emily, Candy is still thirteen. This is her last chance to go out on Halloween, but her mom said she could only go if I went with her, and Mom said I can only go if you go!" Emerson argued. "Yeah, but Janet and I have plans." Emily replied. 'Where you going to play 'Go Fis...

Spirit and Lucky Trick Riding Set ~ Review

Hey guys!
Today I have a bit of a different post, a review!
My little sister got a set from Walmart, and when she showed it to me I was really surprised by the quality. I wanted to share my opinion, and take some pictures of this set.
(And my sister wanted to put her new doll on the blog ;)
It is based off of the new TV show, Spirit: Riding Free, and it comes with the main character, Lucky, and the horse, Spirit.
This set comes from Walmart, and it retails for $20-ish.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The first piece I'll show you is the doll, Lucky.
She has a painted face with amber eyes. I like the fact she doesn't have a lot of make-up on.
Her dress is quite plain, but cute. It looks like denim, but it's much thinner, with a band of red around the shoulders.
Her hands are very delicately sculpted so she can actually hold the reigns my sister made.
Lucky's burgundy tights are painted on, and her adorable brown boots are removable but very important to the set. (Not only because she can't stand without them. XD)
Her hair is very interesting. It is straight until about half way down, when it gets super curly. I was surprised by the quality of her hair, you can brush it and it doesn't all fall out.
Now on to the horse, Spirit.
Both his mane and tail are brushable. He looks like a Bay Dunn... I don't really know, he's just pretty. XD
I think this is my favorite part of the set. Those holes on the back there, Lucky's boots slip into them.
Her toes snap into the deeper part quite firmly, and... well I'll show you in the photoshoot.
The panel flips over to hide the holes when you aren't using them.
Now onto the extra pictures I took, because I love how poseable Lucky is.
This has to be one of my favorites. My little sister actually posed Lucky this one.
This is an illustration of her feet in the holes.
So that's it!
Over all, I would rate this set 4.5 out of 5, because Spirit falls over a lot. XD
Sorry for the awful lighting in the pics, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway! :)
I'll see you guys on Monday for a Remembrance Day post!
