1930's ~ A Photo Story Series ~ FINALE!

Hey, so just a quick explanation on why it took sooooo long to get this up.

I had all the pictures edited and ready to put together and post last Saturday...and then I got a cold...and then I got a flu...and then I had this bad fever...and mainly I've been sick all week. 

So yeah. But then again, maybe I've built suspense. No? OK, It was worth a shot. Anyways I hope you enjoy it!

Kit's POV

It had been a week and we had finally worked up the courage to ask The Human if Kit could stay.

We were in our room practicing our lines.

I was really freaking out.

"What if I mess up?! What if she doesn't like me?!" I cried in panic. 

"Don't worry," Taryn said, putting a reassuring hand on my shoulder, "I'm sure it'll be fine!"

"Guys," Charlie said, "I hear her! She is coming!"

The Human walked into the room and Taryn and Charlie were standing in front of me.

"Hey guys! What's up? You said you wanted to talk to me?" She said happily.

"Uh, yeah. We wanted you to meet our friend." Charlie said.

They both stepped aside.

I took a very deep breath.

"Hi, my name is Kit. Kit Kittredge, and um, ah, well..." I froze. I had no idea how to say this.

Taryn stepped up to try to help me.

"Well what she means is she has no family or parents or home and ah well we were thinking that, ah um..."

Charlie tried too.

"Well of course we mean, ur, uh..."

Then finale at the same time we all said: "We were wondering if you could adopt her!"

The Human looked surprised.

"Well, I'm not sure guys. I'm mean I already have another doll on the way and really only have room for three dolls." She said.

I was horrified.

"Oh! I have an idea! Just wait!" she said running out of the room.

Charlie and Taryn looked at each other but I didn't move.

I couldn't.

We heard The Human call someone and there was running and yelling and talking and other things, and then the door opened again.

Taryn and Charlie looked up but I couldn't bare to.

The Human and another little girl came into the room.

"Girls, I want you to meet my little sister." The Human said with a smug smile on her face.

"What does she have to do with Kit?" Taryn asked, bluntly.

"My little sister has wanted to adopt a doll for quite a while." The Human answered.

"Wait. You mean you want to adopt me?!" I asked excitedly.

"If you'll let me." The Little Human said shyly.

"I would be like Taryn and Charlie's cousin?" I asked.

"Yeah." the little girl answered, "What do you say?"

"Yes." I said quietly.

The girl squealed and wrapped me in a hug, and then I knew I had finally found a home.
