"Hi everyone! It has been raining like...all week. So I figured we could show you how to make a... Wait, wha- what's that?"
"Oh! You're wondering about this pile of stuff behind me? Well, don't worry. I'm getting there!"
"We are making a blanket fort! So lets get started with step one!"
"Alright! So step one is to gather anything in your house that is soft, fluffy or cuddly."
"This includes, but is not limited to, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals!'
"I think we have enough now, Taryn!"
"Good! Now, on to step two!"
*Grunts*
"See? Step two is 'clear space for your fort.' Now this is an easy step if you have a big room."
"Hey Taryn! I got the rope you asked for!"
"Perfect! Give me a hand!"
"Now we have our rope up! Time for step four!"
"Now, there is some debate about what step four is. Some like to get the roof up first while others like to lay a good foundation. But I personally like to...
put down a floor...or in this case a human sized pillow!
"Next, for step five, you put a human sized blanket over your rope."
"Then pull the blanket tight so there is room underneath."
"Also put some heavy furniture on the end of the blanket so it doesn't fall in on you. Alright, it's time for a break in the construction. Pass it to you, Charlie!"
" Thanks Taryn. So it's very important to wear the right clothes when in a blanket fort. And what is it you wear in a blanket fort? PJs!"
"PJs usually consist of a shirt,
pants,
or shorts and, my personal favorite,
a nightie.
"So, now that your wearing the right clothes, I'll pass it back to Taryn."
"Hey, guys. So I just added a light o brighten up our fort."
"I also added some human pencil crayons for support."
"Now time for some blankets!"
"And pillows and stuffies!"
"Then it's time to snuggle down and watch a movie."
"So I'll go chose a movie?"
"Oh. Umm. I think it's my turn."
"No way! You chose last time!"
"Umm. No that was you."
"Was not!"
*Sigh* Good night girls.
This is really cool! Your fort looks super cool! I bet it was super cozy. I suddenly feel the urge to make a fort now!
