House of Spooks ~ Halloween Special

Hey guys. Happy Halloween! I'm super proud of this story, I just love how it turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy it too. I just give a really quick thank you to my awesome neighbors for letting me shot in this old house on their land. ❤️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Any aces?" "Nope, go fish." "Hey, Em! You ready to go?" Emerson asked as she and Candy walked into the kitchen. Emily turned in her seat, "Emerson, I already told you, you're fourteen years old I'm sixteen years old. I'm not taking you trick-or-treating." "But Emily, Candy is still thirteen. This is her last chance to go out on Halloween, but her mom said she could only go if I went with her, and Mom said I can only go if you go!" Emerson argued. "Yeah, but Janet and I have plans." Emily replied. 'Where you going to play 'Go Fis...
A Frozen Package ~ A Photo Story

"Hmm..." Taryn sighed. All the humans had gone to the movies so Taryn was alone in the house.

She was walking down the hallway looking down at something.

It was an owl that her human made. The human said she could give it to a friend. But all Taryn's friends were far away. Her thoughts were then interrupted by a knock at the door.

She set the owl down on the table and went to get the door.

*Taryn's POV*

It was a cool day and was reminded of this as I opened the door.
And on the door step was a huge package.

"Well," I said as I stood there "I'll have to bring it in so it won't freeze."

I walked around to the other end of the box and began to push.

It took forever to move the box and I leaned on it as I panted.
"Done!" I said.

I still had a long way to.
..............................................................
A wee bit later. 🕚

"Well, I got it in! Now to open it."

I tore the band off  and got ready to open the box.

I fell back in surprise.

"That box just moved."

"Okay, time to open this!" I grabbed the lid and flipped it open.

 "AHHHHHHH" I screamed.

In side the box

was

a

Person! ( Or more accurately a doll.)

I finally noticed that she was shivering. I mean she was only wearing a tee shirt.

I helped out of the box and to the couch.

I looked at her as she tried to warm herself up. She had red curly hair lots of little freckles and dark brown eyes.

"Thanks." she whispered. "My name is Charlie." She said as a tear slid down her cheek.

"Are you okay?" I asked

She sighed and closed her eyes. "I was a gift for Christmas. But the human didn't like me so her parents replaced me."

"I'm sorry." I said "I can't imagine how you feel. But now we better get back to the bedroom, the humans will be home soon."

*Charlie's POV*

This girl led me into a room that was just the slightest bit cluttered.

"Umm, were do I sleep?" I asked. The other girl, Taryn, looked around the room.  "Uh, the bottom bunk I guess." She said.

She grabbed the clothes off the bed and said for under the clothes "I'll be with you in a moment."

I looked sadly at my new bed and I closed my eyes. "I miss my old home." I thought to my self.

"Ahem." the other girl said. She had her hands behind her back, it looked kind of suspicious.

"Yes?" I said trying to be polite.

"Well I just wanted to say that I hope you'll enjoy living with me and, um..." She paused.

She drew out from behind her back a cute stuffed owl.  " My I mean our human made this. I want you to have it. I just want you to be happy here......sister.

I looked down at it as she handed it to me. "Maybe this will turn out better than last time." "Do you like it?" she asked.

I dropped the owl and hugged Taryn.

"Sisters?" she asked.

"Sisters."
